Location
Paddington is a pretty residential area, which was restored in the 1960′s after it had been reduced to slims after the Second World War. Now it is full of Victorian terraces worth a small fortune. Oxford Street runs through Paddington which is the main shopping and eating area, although it continues North towards Double Bay and Edgecliff.
Parks
Moore Park & Centennial Parklands
Escape to the wide-open spaces of Centennial Parklands for everything from cycling to horse riding, roller-blading, tennis, golf, netball, cricket, ranger programs, barbecues and picnics – or to simply soak up the fresh air and sunshine.
Be part of the excitement of big-time sport and entertainment at Moore Park, which includes the Sydney Cricket and Aussie Stadium, featuring Australian Rules Football, cricket, Rugby League, Rugby Union, soccer, concerts and interactive venue tours.
Entertainment
Paddington also hosts a number of art galleries, which are worth a visit as well as a number of cinemas. The Chauvel, which is in the town hall, shows new fringe films and is well worth checking out.Museums, Galleries & Attractions
